A Ponte de Westminster, em Londres, foi há pouco reaberta, depois de ter sido evacuada e encerrada nos dois sentidos devido a um veículo abandonado no local.
Parte da biblioteca e do terraço da Câmara dos Comuns foi também evacuada e a circulação no rio Tamisa, por baixo da ponte, esteve interrompida.

De acordo com o jornal britânico The Independent, as autoridades acabaram por não encontrar nenhum objeto suspeito no interior do veículo e, segundo testemunhas, o dono do Smart voltou para o recuperar.
